ICL Continues as Vanuatu Cricket Platinum Sponsor
Interchange Limited (ICL) and the Vanuatu Cricket Association (VCA) have announced the extension of their partnership through to the end of 2026.
ICL General Manager Niall Downey highlighted the broader impact of the partnership, stating, “The Interchange Vanuatu Cricket Academy is helping young players realise their potential, while Women’s Island Cricket continues to create opportunities for women to come together, stay active, and build confidence through participation.”
“As we continue to invest in Vanuatu’s connectivity, we are equally proud to support programs that bring people together through shared experiences, teamwork, and community engagement.”
VCA CEO Tim Cutler said: “Interchange’s support has been instrumental in lifting cricket to new heights.
“With this extension, we can further expand the Academy’s reach and ensure that the next generation of players, especially young women, have the tools, coaching, and opportunities to excel.”
Under the renewed agreement, which took place last week, ICL will continue as the Platinum Sponsor of Vanuatu Cricket, its support will remain instrumental in advancing flagship programs such as the Interchange Vanuatu Cricket Academy and the Women’s Island Cricket initiative.
Additionally, continued investment in the national women’s team — Vanuatu’s highest-ranked sporting side — will help bolster their international campaign and elevate the nation’s presence on the global cricket stage.
Vanuatu Cricket currently engages over 20,000 participants annually, using the sport as a vehicle for empowerment, education, and social inclusion.
